The Emergency Medical Minute:
“Real, Raw, Relevant”
What the heck do you mean by “Real”?
Each medical minute is recorded in a real emergency department, by the emergency physician or clinical pharmacist on duty – the ER is our studio and everything is live.
Is “Raw” Safe for human consumption?
Not only safe…but educationally delectable. The podcasts are unprocessed…no hormones, no fancy editing, no sound effects, no additives and served fresh on a near daily basis! These unadulterated auditory nuggets of EM goodness have also been shown to aid cognitive emergency medicine neuro-development, endowing listeners with special powers and “Smarter-er-ness”. Not enough?! Each podcast is served with an equally brain enticing “written summary” with links to even more tasty info. Drink often from this fount of knowledge…you’ll know more and take better care of your patients.
I’ve always wanted to be “Relevant”. How do these podcasts attain this?
First – these podcasts ain’t created by some recluse researcher, administrator or table jockey. They’re made by 100% bonafide community ER docs & practitioners who are neck deep in patient care. Our podcasters have the proverbial finger in the air, ear to the ground and nose to the grindstone. Our near daily podcasts move quickly to reflect current events, are inspired by real patient care and speak to the true nature of what it’s like to work in the Emergency Room or Pre-Hospital Setting. It is education made by emergency providers for emergency providers.
